The Euro is trading at 1.2448 at present.  The low has been 1.2443 while the high has been 1.2494.  The German Import Prices were released this morning and revealed a 0.3% decrease which met expectations.  This has been the only data released today throughout the Euro zone.  There will be more releases than this in this region tomorrow.  However, looming over the market will be the fact that he US Thanksgiving Holiday will limit the volume over the course of the day.  The data will still likely have a strong impact on the market with inflation and employment data out of Germany among the highlights.  Later this morning will be more data released out of the US.  This data will include Durable Goods, Personal Income and Personal Spending.  Data which should relate directly to the upcoming spending associated to the festive season.

The British Pound is trading at 1.5764 which is just off of its high at 1.5771.  The low in Cable has been 1.5678 which followed the release of the UK data out this morning.  UK Second Estimate GDP met expectations in registering a 0.7% gain.  However, Preliminary Business Investment data disappointed with -0.7% when expectations were for a 2.3% gain.  UK Index of Services posted 0.8% just beating expectations. More recently, UK CBI Realized Sales registered 27 which came in just under what was expected.  The Cable reacted to the earlier data by selling off to touch the lows of the day where the buyers came in and helped it to retrace to the 1.5720 level.  The Sales data then encouraged the Pound to push upward to the current high and it remains poised to possibly go even higher.

The Japanese Yen is trading at 117.76 at the moment.  The USD/JPY low has been 117.58 while the high has been 117.97.  No significant economic data has been released in Japan today which explains the tight range USD/JPY is trading in.  The currency may be impacted by the economic data that will be released in the US today but there is no significant Japanese economic data planned for release until Friday morning in the Asian session.

AUD/USD is trading at 0.8508 with the low being 0.8479 while the high was 0.8565.

USD/CAD is trading at 1.1267 with the low being 1.1248 and the high being 1.1297.
